One of the best parts about being a part of a community is having people to help you when you need it the most. Everyone goes through times when they just need some help!
Maybe youâre about to have a grand opening and you need some help coming up with ideas to get people in the door. Or maybe youâre going through a crazy time personally and you just need some encouragement. Whatever the reason is, life is always better with a crazy group of friends.
BIBLE STORY AHEAD (yâall know me by now right? You knew this was coming )
The man in this story was so sick he couldnât get out of bed. Word had gotten around town that Jesus was healing people. But you had to get to him to get better!
This guyâs crazy four friends decided they were going to do whatever it took to get him to Jesus so he could be healed. When they couldnât make it through the crowd to get him in the house, they literally cut a hole in the roof and lowered him down. Talk about dedication and thinking outside of the box!
âFour men came to Jesus carrying a man who could not move his body. These men could not get near Jesus because of so many people. They made a hole in the roof of the house over where Jesus stood. Then they let down the bed with the sick man on it.â (Mark 2:1-4)
