It is only fitting that when I went to send this email earlier, that my email provider had an error and didn't send what I had typed out! But hey, mistakes happen right?
Here is what was supposed to be sent out:
I see this time and time again, women comparing their chapter one to someone else chapter 20. I know how easy it can be to compare yourself to others, I used to do it all the time.
In fifth grade I was diagnosed with dyslexia (why do they make that so hard to spell, that is just cruel) While my brothers where making straight A's my parents where happy if I made a C. They were just hoping I could graduate high-school and guess what? I did and continued on to College where I made the honors list and graduated with a bachelors in communication, minor in marketing. That's when I decided I would no longer use my
dyslexia as a crutch, and decided to start my own business.
Let me say, I WAS SCARED.
--Scared of what others would think when they viewed my sales page and saw misspellings
--Scared of if my constant misspelling of your and you're would make people think I wasn't smart enough to teach them anything
--Scared I wasn't good enough
The list goes on and on, but I am so happy I pushed FEAR ASIDE and decided to start my business, because I have now helped over 7,000 women be successful in growing their business on Social Media. Maybe spelling isn't my thing, but social media IS! I now run a successful business, typos and all, and I am proud of this business I've created!
I don't say this to brag, I say this because I hope it encourages you to push your fear and insecurities aside, stop focusing on others success and focus on your own!
If you are still reading this email THANK YOU for spending your time reading about my story! I would love to hear from YOU, did this encourage you at all? Shoot me back a reply to this email, so I can get to know YOU BETTER!
